A Korean Odyssey - K-Drama Review

He burned a whole world to save her Oh! Wait! I should start by saying something else, already spoiling. Although everyone knows I love spoilers.  Okai! So that was the most iconic scene in "A Korean Odyssey"  It made me scream, literally scream,  "I WANT TO BE LOVED LIKE THIS!" Not burning the world for me but you know... πŸ’πŸ’πŸ’ Do you believe in fate? 🐡🐡🐡 Lily's Review This K-drama is a pure rollercoaster! I want to spoil it for you...it has a happy ending :) Many people watched it and reviewed it as a sad drama. For me, it was a comedy, fantasy, romance, and action. I love to watch fantasy although Cosette Awad is such a good Korean influencer and I'm basically turning my attention to all k-dramas with a happy ending! I'm even in love with the culture and learning a few words. (Thank you Cosy). So, if you think you will be bored, forget it. You might laugh, cry, feel angry or bite your nails at the same time, just like when you are reading one of C...

Parenting: know the limits

I promise you this article is not as sad as this photo,  but I had to talk about this first,  and show you how unfair  this is... Photo source & subject: parents burning all of their daughters K-pop merchandise πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’” I read the title and had to read the article to understand why a girl was sitting there crying between the ashes. The story brought me to tears and broke my heart.  A video of the girl crying after her parents burned all of her precious K-pop merchandise went viral, evoking sympathy from k-pop fans and supportive parents everywhere. Do you know something? I was fortunate to have supportive parents, who never questioned my choices. T hey guided me and even let me do mistakes and learn from them. That's how it should be and I am not here to tell anyone how to raise their children but what I saw in the picture above is unacceptable. They should have talked to their daughter to understand her. Anyway, I am not a parent, but a super amazing mama of a k-p...

NCT 127 - 2 baddies

P.S.: This photo of Taeyong stole my heart away! I have to say it! Taeyong's visuals are no joke! πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™ When "2 Baddies" was released it was the highlight of my day!  I didn't expect anything less from NCT 127, and the teaser of "2 Baddies" had me counting the days till this song was released!  Since the teaser was released I've dancing and singing along with it. So imagine how excited I was when the entire song was out! Oh! And I almost forgot to mention that after a couple of hours this song hit 38 million views! It's been just eight days and already reached 69 million views! "2 baddies" is an inspirational hip-hop song and the lyrics are about achieving success through running towards goals regardless of what others think or people's judgments. I know those kind of songs doesn't focus that much on the vocals  but their voices  took my breath away!  Wait... do I even need to mention their outfits?! Or their visuals, the art direc...

Touch Your Heart - K-drama review - Lee Dong-wook

Okai this time I am doing this K-drama review differently! My agent sent me a review of the K-drama that had touched her heart, and I couldn't help but reschedule the K-drama I was planning to review in favor of “Touch your heart.” Oh! And I recall how touching this drama was, and how it warmed my heart as well.   And I remember watching this K-drama because I watched Goblin and I fell in love with the grim reaper and Kim Sun.  And that's why, when I knew that they had another K-drama together I watched it without hesitation. πŸ’˜πŸ’˜πŸ’˜ My agent is cooler than yours. Lily's review,  I would start by saying that, I didn't expect to crush on a drama like this. My style is fantasy, action, thriller...but not a romantic comedy. Cosette Awad was and still is a big influence in my life and she was the one that introduced me to the K World. I just got inspired by everything related to it. Back to my point, I decided to give a chance to this specific k- drama and I just want ...

Jackson Wang - My magic man - My idol

I am naming all dazzling stars in the sky after you. 🌟🌟🌟 Jackson Wang is more than just an idol, he was an athlete who also rejected Harvard to pursue his dream "MUSIC."  I still remember the day Jackson said, "I wrote a song about my life" and it was the first time that Jackson wrote something that personal. I couldn't wait for his song to be out.  I knew that he left China and his parents when he was young but I had no idea what he'd been through to get to where he is now.  When the song was finally released, I couldn't wait for the translation, I listened to it and as music is a universal language I felt that just knowing that it was my idol's story was enough to win my heart.  He inspired me all along with his hard work, but learning this about him made me love him even more.  These two parts of the songs made me realize why without even knowing his full story  I choose him, to be IDOL.  Back when I was 17 in 2011 I left my home without any he...
