She was pretty, K-drama

"When someone is doing what they really want to do, that's when they look truly beautiful. I want to look truly beautiful as I do what I like, not for someone else but for me." -Kim Hye-Jin

Ji Sung-Joon (Park Seo-Joon) was ugly and fat as a child, but the ugly duckling grew up and became a handsome man. Kin Hye-Jin was so beautiful and popular when she was young and but became ugly as she aged.

They were childhood sweethearts, lost each other, and met again when they grew up.

This K-drama is very heartwarming and has lots of messages and life lessons.

You will laugh and cry but mostly it will give you hope.

I love the K-dramas that inspire me and teach me not to give up.

"I started to think about something one day. I began to believe that main characters do not exist solely in K-dramas or movies. In reality, some people live as the main characters, while others live as supporting characters... But then I had this thought, maybe it was my decision to be one of the supporting characters... Giving up easily by allowing life to dictate my path, it wasn't me who turned off the spotlight shining down on me... People frequently state that life is not a fairytale, but like a child, and sometimes like a fool, how about dreaming about a fairytale life?

If you don't turn off the light and don't give up on your dream, something even more fairytale-like than a fairytale may happen.-Kim Hye-Jin

"Thanks for being my umbrella this time. Next time we meet, I'll be your umbrella."

Talking about childhood traumas 💔 This scene that broke my heart.

💔💔💔

There is a cute story behind this onion, watch and see!

Shin Hyuk was the most interesting character in: "she was pretty" and he was funny too, I like him.

Hye-Jin & Shin Hyuk's friendship was so cute! You will enjoy it.

I was in a love triangle between the two male leads Sung-Joon & Shin Hyuk but I was so happy she ended up with Sung-Joon. Her first love because this is the ultimate happiness for me.

Not only is there a happy ending with a ring and wedding dress.

But it's also a fairytale following the wedding and having a cute little girl.

I want to admit that this is the best ending to a K-drama so far.

And this one is for you Japanese drama lovers.

Did you know that there is a Japanese adaptation of "She was pretty"?

It's called "Kanojo was kirei data" and it's super cool I loved it.

Nakijama Kento was as cool as the K-drama main lead.

Actually, he stole my heart in this J-drama.

The whole cast actually was really cool.

Now you have the two versions and you can choose, for me I would recommend both!

School Korean Drama

"School" (South Korean anthology) This anthology has 8 seasons. From 1999 to 2002 (4 seasons) then after 10 years they rebooted with a new season in 2012 then  3 other series came after. 📚📚📚 This anthology shed a light on serious problems that occur in schools, like corrupt education, teen suicide, physical, mental abuse as well as bullying.  It is unacceptable that even these days are still happening without finding any solution. Certain events that happened and caused traumas for kids, should have been avoided if the system was more careful, if had more humanity, and if they started looking at the kids as human beings not just robots at school to get good grades and only get evaluated by this. You will learn a thing or two from these K-dramas. They are tough and sometimes you'll feel how cruel the world has been for them at times, let alone feel related because we all had been through something similar in one way or another.  Even the bullies are like this for a reas...

Kiss Goblin K-drama

Talking about the most underrated K-drama I have ever seen.    I still don't understand why he wants to be human... 😂😆  A 160-year-old goblin knew that in order to become human he needed to kiss 10 girls. The love story is very interesting.  He met a girl who is sick of people, who suffered from a horrible breakup and keeps saying that she hates people.  And look at her falling for a 160-year-old goblin... She works in a cafe and to add to the miserable things that happened to her, the customers were all rude and disrespectful. If you like supernatural, fantasy K-dramas this one is for you. The only thing I hold against it is that it has only 12 episodes, 12 minutes each.  Couldn't they make it a little bit longer? 😭😭😭 " You're my last kiss. If we kiss, we will forget our love together. " We settled this from previous articles, Bae In hyuk is one of my fave talented actors and they need to give him more dramas. I kept nagging until he finally got...

"IMITATION" K-drama

Another K-drama about K-pop idols? Nope! It's a unique and underrated one. Every now and then I go back and re-watch K-dramas that really touched my heart. I also have some comfort dramas that I go back to every time I want to watch stress-free dramas. This one though is far from stress-free but it always touched my heart. "Imitation" is based on a webtoon They say fictional characters don't exist in real life... LOL OKAI! “Imitation” is about the world of K-pop and the intense pressure and completion that comes with it. All the actors and actresses fascinated me, especially since this K-drama showed the talent of Ateez, SF9, U-Kiss, and Park Yuri K-pop members. I have mixed emotions between liking the actress and being mad at her for being so cold and inconsiderate toward my beloved idol Lee Jun. I also felt sometimes off because there was no chemistry then suddenly I feel the fluffy love. The love story and all the side stories were amazing though. The cinematograp...
