Dear screenwriter Bo-Ra-Yoo - K-Drama review "Just between lovers"

I prepared a box of tissues and stayed up all night to watch "Just between lovers" or "Rain or Shine" Yes, both are the titles of the drama.

Okai Guys! My first K-Drama review on this blog

I like to write spoilers, if you can't stand it,

this blog is not for you :P

I'm going to remind you of all your favorite old k-dramas but I will start with my favorite one from my top ten Kdramas.

I'm a sucker for happy endings so be prepared for me to yell at every screenwriter who makes my favorite characters die.

Just between lovers is number one in my k-drama top ten. 이준호 is also my favorite actor. I've seen so many K-dramas that I've lost count, but whenever someone asks me which one is my favorite, I don't hesitate, I don't blink, I just respond "Rain or shine." The feeling I experienced while watching it was indescribable, it was a rollercoaster of emotions.
Let me tell you something about loss: you never get over it! Not when it happens and never after. And if your dreams come crashing down, you'll be terribly miserable until you find another purpose in life. It felt so familiar since it was exactly what happened to me while doing one of my favorite things that I like "snowboarding." After an injury, I asked the doctor if I could do snowboarding again and he answered: "ask me if you could walk again." And it felt so familiar because my Jun-ho in "Just between lovers” went through something similar when he couldn't play soccer after he was severely injured in the mall that day, and he was almost buried under the ruins when the mall collapsed.
"Just between lovers" is about FATED LOVE. The love that saves us, that is what you need to know. I am not going to tell you the synopsis since you can find it all over the internet.

Teenage traumas and tragedies... Death and healing. Hope... and that's all I needed while watching it. I loved how strong the main characters overcame every obstacle they faced, and how no matter how hard life got, they didn't give up on each other.

💙💙💙

Dear screenwriter Bo-Ra-Yoo,

You're awesome and I wish you'd write 100 scripts and more like "Just between lovers" you know? But while watching so many times, I wanted to ask you, why this happened to my Jun-ho and why you let him suffer like this. Then, I realized life is just like this unfair and cruel and mostly to the good people.

You are my favorite writer and one day I hope my novels turned into K-dramas.

I watched "Just between lovers" countless times and every time I watch it, I experienced new waves of emotions. Every time I finished watching it, I sit with myself thinking about what was on your mind while writing this wonderful, heartbreaking and breathtaking K-drama that will always be my number ONE.

True, it was an emotional rollercoaster, but when I got to the end the first time I watched it, I didn't want it to end. When I realized it had the happiest ending I could ever imagine after all the struggle and pain that my beloved main leads had gone through, my agony watching them suffer went away, and in the end, it was worth all the pain for them to have their happy ending. You made me believe that there is still magic in this world and that love conquers and saves us all.

 I RATE THIS K-DRAMA
